Animated in Adobe After Effects, this motion design project is a lyric video-esque take on the song Hot To Go by Chappell Roan, with visuals inspired by the design tropes of New Wave.
When creating the animation I thought about concert visuals with
shapes and impactful typefaces elevate the music vibrantly and energetically creating cohesion between a performance and backing visuals.
